How It All Began
Ellen and her team first discovered Rozel while searching for a home large enough to accommodate their biannual trips to Nantucket, where they provide preventive dental services to the island community. They found the perfect fit in 3 Gulls & A Buoy, a spacious colonial nestled in the heart of the private Naushop association. What began as a practical booking quickly blossomed into a cherished tradition.
A Space That Works as Hard as They Do
“This home is perfect for us,” Ellen shares. “It has everything we need—plenty of space to work, relax, and connect as a team.”
With multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, a functional and fully-equipped kitchen, and versatile common spaces, the house makes it easy for the group to transition from busy mornings to productive evenings—and still enjoy some well-deserved downtime. Whether gathering around the large dining table, prepping breakfast side-by-side in the kitchen, or holding evening admin sessions, 3 Gulls & A Buoy seamlessly supports their needs.
Moments That Matter
Even though their stays are centered around work, Ellen highlights the togetherness that defines each trip.
“We get to spend quality time together,” she explains. “The kitchen, living room, game room, and large table are all very inviting. They give us time to enjoy each other.”
The game room, with its theater-style setup and nostalgic arcade games, has become a go-to for post-work laughs and team bonding. It’s no wonder Ellen calls the entire house her favorite feature.
The Spirit of Nantucket
When they’re not working or relaxing in the home, Ellen and her colleagues embrace everything the surrounding area has to offer. Walks to nearby ice cream shops, quiet neighborhood strolls, and memorable meals are woven into every stay.
“We always make a trip to the Brotherhood of Thieves,” Ellen says, listing Millie’s, the Tap Room, Fusaro’s, and Town among their favorite dining spots. “Dining is the biggest thing we do when we’re here.”
Feeling Right at Home
More than the amenities or the location, it’s the welcoming energy of the home that keeps Ellen and her team coming back.
“The house is extremely comfortable and lacks nothing,” she reflects. “We walk in and we feel at home.”

As for what’s next? Ellen is already dreaming of future Rozel stays.
“We want to go to the other properties!” she says.
